Forward Booking for Preventative Healthcare, Annual Wellness Exams, and Semi-Annual Geriatric Exams

We are introducing a new concept in scheduling for PSVC which has been in use by other healthcare professionals for decades – Forward Booking of Appointments. We will increasingly be suggesting a date for your next annual wellness exam or your pet’s semi-annual geriatric exam. This also applies to recheck appointments in the near future for ongoing problems like chronic ear infections.

Even though this busy life brings so many twists and turns everyday, if we suggest an appointment date one year from now, there will be an appointment card sent home to get it on your calendar and there will be notices sent ahead of the appointment day. Just think of this forward booked appointment date as a starting point which shifts the responsibility for important future pet healthcare off your busy schedule. You can always change the appointment as the time gets closer.

We will continue to send out reminder cards for future appointments, but because our computer system cannot determine that a distant appointment has already been booked, you can disregard the card if you made a forward-booked appointment.

The texted / emailed appointment reminders have become popular with most of our clients and these will continue, allowing you to confirm the appointment with a single stroke right on your phone or computer.
